Updates on ‘Iron Man 3’, ‘Dr. Strange’, ‘Thor 2’, ‘Cap 2’ and ‘Nick Fury’

Iron Man 3 is said to begin shooting in Wilmington, NC this coming March, several weeks prior to previously reported schedule dates, which were set close to The Avengers release (May 4). Coming soon reports that a source involved with the NC production has stated, “[Marvel] will have staff in Wilmington as early as mid-March, with shooting scheduled to begin the last week of April or the first week of May.” A Marvel Studios source confirmed somewhat nebulously, “It is not April for sure.”

The script for the developing Doctor Strange film has been completed by writers Thomas Dean Donnelly andJoshua Oppenheimer (Conan The Barbarian, Sahara). A director is currently being sought. Production on the film is expected to begin this year, with a target release date in 2013.

Marvel Studios has set release dates for two other unspecified projects. One is Apr. 4, 2014, and the other is May 16, 2014. Thor 2 is set for Nov 15, 2013, ruling that out. Suggested possibilities include Captain America 2, which is shooting for production by the end of 2012, and Nick Fury.

I hate seeing posts that complain about teachers who are actually doing their job.  I mean, shame on them for trying to educate you!  Shame on them for trying to help you to succeed IN THE REAL WORLD.  Without an education, have fun trying to get any job.  A lot of places don’t even hire now without a high school education or a GED equivalent.  You have the luxury of an education, your parents send you to school so you can be successful, and get a good job in the future.  Teachers work hard and are underpaid, the good teachers just want to see their students succeed.  Teachers are forced to teach to the standardized test (unless it’s a private school, of course) and they don’t choose what you need to know to pass, but they do put effort into trying to make it as interesting as possible.  The least any student could do is try to do their work and put some effort in to prove that you are at least trying.  

This is probably because I’m attending university to be an English teacher, but I also don’t think some people understand what an advantage they have when they can attend school become educated members of society.  I can understand that some teachers are just awful — I’ve had awful teachers, too — but even the ones that I could credit as good and effective teachers I have overheard being criticized by students who simply did not have the desire to be in school at all.  There are children all over the world who cannot attend school for a plethora of different reasons, and I think too many people take their blessings (so to speak) for granted.

Give your teachers the respect they deserve.  That’s all I ask.

don’t worry tara, this shit pisses me off too, lol. my favorite teachers were often the ones everyone else hated because — heaven forbid — they expected you to work (ms. krantz, for example)
